I live a block from Howard. US News and World Report says it has an enrollment of 7,164. If you take that total enrollment back seventy years and assume that nobody has died or just didn't feel like showing up to homecoming, that's 501,480 people. I'm not really very good at affixing a number to a crowd, but I'm pretty confident there were more than that many people in front of my apartment a couple weeks ago.

So I'm going to assume that there are other events that are ostensibly related to a single University that draw more than just that limited crowd?
