Last year, the affiliate for a Twins fan to watch was in the Appy League, at Elizabethtown, TN. Luckily, this is the closest affiliate to the miserable shitbucket in which I live. Unluckily, it's still about four and a half hours away and not in an area where there's much else to do. So it never happened.

This year, the guys who made that affiliate worth watching (BA's Twins #1 and all-around superprospect Miguel Sano as well as #2 Eddie Rosario fresh off a move to second base to try and even out the team's centerfield logjam) will be at low-A Beloit in the Midwestern League. Add in some solid sleepers like Madison Boer and Niko Goodrum and Beloit is going to be a great place to see future Twins players.

By lucky coincidence, I will be spending about four weeks in Iowa right near one MWL team and within an hour drive of one or two others. So I'm making it happen in April.
