Tickets are cheap. The fights are VERY short so you have
to pay attention because the fights start and end quickly.

I'd read up on some of the fighters beforehand...read the
website prior, the best finalists will all have little pieces
written about them

I saw Pauli Malignaggi and Danny Jacobs in the Golden
Gloves tourney...you are likely to see a good pro or
future world champion so pay attention

The women's fights are also quite good

As an aside, I remember there being lots of pretty women
at the event...its sort of a casual, hang-outty type of
vibe...not stuffy
