our friend had a pickup, and we put a rectangular kiddie pool in the back, filled it up, and would sit in it, drink beer, and grill for several hours.

As a New Yorker, I never got tired of sitting in the sun in a pool in the middle of November, drinking a beer and having a burger.

When I went back this year, my friends had stepped their game up.

They had SIX of the 10x10 canopies lashed together for shade. DirecTV with two 32" flatscreens showing other games (they have a generator). three coolers filled with various beer. and food galore.

It was an 8 PM game, and we were all there and drinking by 9 AM.

I would recommend that whichever school you decide to visit, you learn some of the cheers beforehand.

Aside from the chomp, one of the big Gator traditions is that between the 3rd and 4th quarter, the whole stadium locks arms, sways back and forth, and sings a song called "We Are The Boys (of old Florida)"

It's truly an epic sight.
