Independently of that, my wife and I decided to do Italy for our honeymoon. When I realized that the race was going on during the time we were there, I told her I didn't care what else we did on the trip, we were DEFINITELY going.
well worth it, and the only trade off was that since I made her wait for 4-5 hours in the heat for the race, I had to take her to Times Square for new years 2010/11 and stand in the cold.
