Dog, wings are wings. You're exposing yourself right now. In many situations the only designation between a 2/3 is who you guard. But I'll entertain it;

From 08-09;
http://www.peachtreehoops.com/2009/5/26/888822/state-of-the-hawks-joe-johnson
"Of those most used five man rotations, number 3, 8, and 10 had Joe Johnson playing with Flip Murray and Mike Bibby. Therefore, Joe Johnson played the Joe Johnson position against small forwards."

From this year;
http://nba-point-forward.si.com/2011/11/21/is-shifting-johnson-to-sf-the-answer-for-hawks/
"The Hawks used 24 different lineups (minimum: 10 minutes played) that featured Johnson as the small forward in the regular season, according to Basketball Value. (Note: Johnson is listed as three inches taller and five pounds heavier than Maurice Evans, so we’re counting Johnson as the nominal “small forward” and Evans as the “shooting guard” in lineups in which they shared the wing)."

The specific prositional data doesn't exist for Phoenix but you can see a lot of minutes given to Richardson and Jimmy Jackson here; http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/PHO/2005.html. Joe was guarding 3's there too.

I know it's not the okp thing to do to admit when you're wrong but I don't know what else you fucking want. I'm sure you'll find a way to bullshit your way out of it.

And the majority of Joe's shots have been mid-to-long 2's and 3's. The same shit you're saying Harrison Barnes needs to focus on. I'm saying that in the league those closeouts are coming faster and harder and it'll be harder to get his shot off. Even with a potentially all-star level PG like kyrie he'll have to get his handle right and develop counter moves. ~70-80% of Joe Johnson's 3's are assisted. If Barnes is going to be the scorer a struggling team needs he's not going to get more assisted long buckets than that.

He won't get to the hoop like RJ, he won't finish like RJ, he won't defend like Deng or finish at the rim (67%) like Deng. Deng and Iso-Joe are his best comps and to the original point, I don't see him being as valuable as either of them. He'll prob play like 15 years in the league but I don't see him giving a team that needs athleticism and creative scoring on the wing a real boost like that. So you arguing hard and agreeing with me on that.
