Chelsea have been alerted to the availability of Mario Balotelli after his agent admitted the striker could leave AC Milan.

Balotelli, who left Manchester City to join Milan last January, has been in stunning form in Serie A, scoring 15 goals in 17 matches.

But despite impressing on the pitch, his off-field antics have continued, and agent Mino Raiola has hinted that the player could be on the move again soon.

‘There is an exaggerated amount of attention on him,’ said Raiola.

‘We all need to calm down and analyse how things are going with Milan.

‘Italy will not be the final stage of his career, for sure.’

It’s thought that the comments will alert Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who has worked with Balotelli in the past, and has recently spoke of his admiration of the player.

Any deal with Milan would likely cost around £30million, but having missed out on Radamel Falcao, Robert Lewandowski and Wayne Rooney in the summer, the Blues are on the lookout for a top quality striker.

Balotelli still has four years left on his Milan contract.
