i'm sure embiid wanted to attempt to put up another 40 piece on jokic but with him playing slightly hurt and harden out, sixers staff/FO likely made a call to rest and prepare for the playoffs
the reddit threads on this "ducking" are hilarious. makes a lot of the same points made in the above convo, including glossing over embiid's injuries and covid absences in previous games in denver. thought OKS was morally above reddit's latent racism and disingenuous trolling but i guess not 🤔
