Like, okay - do I think they're MUCH better in an alternate timeline where they keep Brunson and never get Kyrie? Not really.
But I think Luka's flaws are too big to ignore at this point. That WCF last year did a *LOT* for the narrative that he was about to make the jump. Then, he didn't.
