Lavar looks "worse" because he's a grown man writing a big ass check that his son is going to have to cash, but Joel and Ben haven't exactly earned a single veteran stripe to clown any rookies.

Poppa Ball certainly hit them with a low blow but they opened that door and, well, he's right. These are two well regarded young players who are viewed as the Best Thing Since.... but if they've barely played because they're injured, well, they're not exactly in position to trash talk any incoming rookies.

They threw out their jabs from the position of promising youngsters who would be game-changing greats if only they could get healthy... so anyone mad because Poppa Ball took the low road and hit them with the obvious response would be better served wishing their kids would wait until they could actually walk before talking that talk.

Philly heads can talk all they want about the raw talent of Joel with 31 games and Ben with 0 games being better than the entire Lakers roster, and that might well be true, but it won't make a lick of difference if they can't play.
