He's the truest pg of that bunch and what he does well (run a team) isn't valued by this Team USA coaching staff.

He'd be a better fit if he was an off the ball guy too and more versatile. But he's not. He's a pg and that's it. When he doesn't have the ball. He's not cutting. He's waiting for somebody to pass it back to him so he can make a play. In this case dudes like Hayward were looking him off and shooting.

He'll just never fit with this coaching staff. Same way Rondo didn't.
