but, to me, from a raw asset management standpoint, the flyers won the deal. that said, holmgren made a lot of penny thrifty moves. no cups.
i'd agree that the kings wouldnt be where they are without those two, however the flyers were not going to win a cup with them. they had no kopitar, they were slotted up a spot from where they should have been and have been playing.
