just for the record, the obstruction happens even if middlebrooks gets up, but craig pushes him back down before running into him, giving him no chance to get out of the way. is there anything in the rule book that covers a baserunner making a defensive player commit obstruction? even typing that is weird, so i'm assuming there isn't.

and can we all just acknowledge it's weird to run on the inside?
