and the buddy Cop era of Magic and Bird romanticize things as i remember it.

they used the ABA and took the best players however only DOC and Moses got with teams where they could do well.

Artis Gilmore with the bulls weren't a real threat.

Dan Issel out in Denver which had a scary team of Offense, however they never quite got to the next level.

George Gervin was stuck in San Antonio. they had some nice runs, however never a real threat. Billy Paultz the whooper did well in the ABA as well.

i remember back when Moses Malone slapped Paultz because the Whooper got physical with Mo.
