Kupchak wasn't gonna say "well, he's black, so fuck him."
but Mike Brown got the shortest of short leashes. All of what Kupchak said might be true, but underlying alladat is race. it doesn't take an active racism for general managers to give black coaches less time. it's been statistically shown to be the case. this one is just the most blatant.
