Nash free-style ball will serve to get the Lakers blown
the fuck out against more athletic teams.

Question, Laker fan:

What team(s) gave the Lakers the most
trouble during their dynasty?

Yes. That 2000 Blazers team was one.

The Sacramento Kings were the other. Why?

The Princeton offense.

Because the Kings understood that they didn't
have the athletes to go toe to toe with the
Lakers, and definitely didn't have the one-on
one talent to play with a lot of the league.

That team was perfect because it was built
around excellent passing, motion, spacing
and tempo.

It had two above average big men and a bunch
of jumpshooters.

Dwight-Pau is better than Vlade-Webber in combo.

Bibby-Christie-Peja are Nash-Kobe-World War, except
the 3 (World War) is the defensive stopper, while
the 2 (Christie) was the stopper with the Kings.

Kobe is now a jumpshooter, and a fantastic one,
but a jumpshooter. Not nearly as limited as Peja,
but a shell of his former wing dominant self.

Nash is a better playmaker than Bibby and just as
dead-eye a shooter. Doesn't have Bibby's size.
Problem is, Nash has thrived in offenses where he
dribbled in circles for 12 seconds, finding space
while tossing lobs to young guys who can jump
(young Amare and Matrix). There's a reason that shit
never went anywhere in the playoffs. It wins MVP
trophies. Does not win in the playoffs (save that series
when Amare went apeshit against Duncan)

So,

The Lakers' offense must hit one or BOTH big men
EVERY time down the floor. Force doubles,
movement on the perimeter with SOMEONE
becoming open.

Its perfect.

(b) The rotation complaints are outright hilarious
because half the team is coming off of injuries.
Brown has no idea how far he can push Dwight or
Kobe yet. Not to mention everybody is fucking OLD.
