In my dying days I lie and gaze,
as stars shine through polluted skies, I find meaning and I arrange,
my life's mistakes on a tiny page,
mapped out through key words,
I segue and bleed words while I bleed worse internally,
my lips pursed, everyones observing me,
they say its predisposition why certain people die,
I see this position, its a lie..
cures exist behind paywalls, do you know how painful, it is to put a price on a life?
they engineer patents, the end is near, the ship needs a captain,
to ferry souls to and fro,
many go, few can know death and live to tell it,
soon Ill go to I can smell it,
a hint of acetone on my breath,
