glances lead to prancing about
flouting norms that conform
born to advise we chastise those
who seem like they appear dreamlike
in dark nights we feel light
in spite of all that could
baffle we climb the scaffolds
only to swing from rafters
after the chapter closes
bed of roses and other figures
seem to prefigure what we
commodify as it applies
like apples and oranges
upon this we build
