sublime words seem superb like an adverb that qualifies

a term seek and learn like the brothas who did "hard to earn"

spurned a couple of times between the lines I find

new methods like a plethora or an array to display

prices paid when foundations are laid seem frayed

at the edges like a man who screamed "sheared to the seams"

like dreams evaporate before the state created elated

simpletons who suggest ideas laid to rest it's best to

have a standard when demand dries up and the cup

gets extended for a quarter in the subway

that day eyes meet on streets of coldy wind

rescind offers once proffered like lofty goals

hold on tight with what stays bright
