at the helm

delving past all else

the science dissolves itself

could be better for my health

stealth logic

common to all who frolic

symbolic

but that's the trick

it's easier to make the claims stick

just in the nick of time

sublime to consider

they could get rid of

the excess

unless

they wanted to build a nest

and then invest

but I bless the day I rise

and fantasize

as if it were a surprise

until the morning dies

and I'll find

new chapters of mind

to rewind the thoughts that remind them of
