I want to meet
and to love
all the little children who live inside you
the little souls of you who exist in shadows and shades
of meanings and absences

I want to know them
shake their hands
and treat their wounds when they fall
I want to offer them the bounty of the sky:
cloud, eclipse, star, wind, and moonlight
to the hands of those little sweet people
who form the spine
the cranium of your psychic body

waking in the light of 2011 finds this heart and mind grateful great peace 'sage'

and when singers wearing summer hats
bound through rustic high grasses in fields
plucking the daisies and marigolds
i want to wear your smile on my sleeve
and kiss you goodnight
under the crush of the beaming sun

your angel-black hair
carnation-hued lips
your face majestic
elicit ruminations from the poet
like the distant peaks

you could stare down a dragon
fierce and frightful
with your diamond-flavored eyes
sparkling bubbles of champagne
the light emitting from your core
flying from your eyes like sparks

I want to place my ear to your heart
and listen to it beat all night

I'd 'Follow' you on purpose if you forever write this way

Is though I found a peace of heaven and the devil no longer existed

holding happy tears
deceptive mystery tropes

Truly the strength in mind

let their flavors mix on your tongue

my words are old men who hide behind
shades pretending to play dominoes
cards or chess on
benches in parks
while they silently scheme
on swimming the waves of your rambling breasts

where do you remain hidden in photographs
dancing between what the light has captured forever
and what shrinks from view as if timid with shame?

be desired
