I'm an 18-year-old MC. I'm finna start recordin on my 1st mixtape. One problem I have with my writing though, is that I lack depth of topics/storytelling ability/basic rhyming. I'm dope (imo and a good amount of other people's), but really all I do is come up wit crazy metaphors, wordplay, and rhyme scheme to say how nice I am @ writing/rhyming. So when it comes 2 tha "science" of MCing, I got that pretty much downpacked. But what tips could someone give for me 2 improve on "the basics", expanding topics, improving delivery, etc.?
