Forces pull against hands of time
Tryin' to change my destiny
I thought it was only 12 o'clock
Now I look ... and it's almost 3:00
I am but a woman~child ... lookin' for my cup of tea
... Kool~Aid though it may be ...
But that silly rabbit told me the Madd Hatter was punctual
And this damn clock ain't even functional
... Chiming & ringin' every other hour ...

So I'm torn from the arms of "the Mother of Invention"
Not to mention ... stripped of my identity
I roam free in this land of calamity
As chaos rocks my insanity with vanity
I expanded the bandwidth in my brain
Caught time in a bottle /made it scream in pain
I danced on night clouds til' they cried black rain
... leaving an awful mental stain
Yes indeed ... Now I'm insane
