I had to look ^UP^ what da hell a grimoire was!?!?! -- :9
A grimoire (pronounced /Grim'War/) is a textbook of magic. Books of this genre, typically giving instructions for invoking angels or demons, performing divination and gaining magical powers, have circulated throughout Europe since the Middle Ages.
Oh yeah ...
~AND~
The term "grimoire" commonly serves as an alternative name for a spell-book or tome of magical knowledge in such genres as fantasy fiction. The most famous fictional grimoire is the Necronomicon, a creation of the author H. P. Lovecraft. It was first referenced in his story "The Hound" and subsequently made appearances in many of his stories. Other authors such as August Derleth and Clark Ashton Smith have also cited it in their works with Lovecraft's approval. Many readers and others have believed it to be a real work, with booksellers and librarians receiving many requests for the fictional tome. Pranksters have even listed it in rare book catalogues, including one who surreptitiously slipped an entry into the Yale University Library card catalog. Several authors have also published books titled Necronomicon, though none have been endorsed by Lovecraft himself.
In the hit musical and bestselling book Wicked by Gregory Maguire, Elphaba (The Wicked Witch Of The West) came to owning a "Grimmerie", which held spells.
Grimoires are a common item in video games or fantasy role-playing games with a magical element.
Soooo ... That's what you look like in your pic ... a young wizard! -- *smiles* . . . . . . . . . .
I'm callin' Harry Potter! :P

83082, Mom almost named me Harry Posted by WILDOUT, Fri Nov-06-09 07:55 PM
generally grimoires are used in power gaining rituals from what I've researched, the title doesn't actually refer to myself but others I've introduced into some of the "esoteric" arts in my life..
Selfishness cannot attain true magic, but only makes tools of the users I guess why I wrote this was because some people feel like there work in magic grows out of control when in fact, harmonious magic and nature "wonders" happen due to proper timing and vibrations rather than any ownership of power to wield over this world real magic in my experience doesn't come from selfish grimoires but through living in the moment and finding the path to healing whatever we dwell on and forgiving ourselves/others
in essence, thats why they must overcome fear to attain true magic, which is itself existence
and as for me looking like a wizard.. i think you're starting to catch on to where i've been and where i'm going to

I agree with photo. Nice flow. Especially these lines...
night time, more thoughts grind time time to push out the filler and sit with your own mind day mirrors nightmares consuming energy fight fears till you're clear on what is what within

83113, you strike me as more of a battler at times Posted by mindful, Sun Nov-08-09 11:32 AM
but, this was worth the read:
spaced out headed towards elective illusions base calling you your gone but telling them that it's the product of need, this manifest feeling of revelations made unto you your existence revealing night time, more thoughts grind time time to push out the filler and sit with your own mind
the title is luring as well... good job with that. Peace~

>No interest the cue digest the newer best >Test don't confess progress the dire intellect >No simpleness achieved, oneless grimoire selfishness >calling on whatever too much attentiveness
i felt that these lines were kind of like a warm up.. verbal juggle in a way because it was really difficult for me to pick up the meaning and roll with it.. until...
>spaced out headed towards elective illusions >base calling you your gone but telling them that it's >the product of need, this manifest feeling >of revelations made unto you your existence revealing >night time,
nice..
you are saying something.. and its got a good flow.. nicely done. peace!

what's funny is really this piece was to someone and all of the people it's not to have to take a different context I guess in a way I'm saying optimism is the only way but
it's interesting---I thought this whole piece was a warm up but for me and some of my friends we think of it as a glass of water we pour until it overflows with thoughts that make us feel one again
