This is a collaboration of some of most talented poets and emcees in the world!

(I don’t care if it’s not that busy in here it’s still the most talented board ever and you know this MAYUN!)

ALL OF YOU HATERS RECOGNIZE!

Anyway, the ladies have chosen for us to have another co-ed event as we did last year.
The topic they have chosen by votes is to write about is “WORLD/INTERNATIONAL ISSUES” (Obama, Hurricane Katrina, Iraq, anything else you can think of that you think is important, etc)

This year I’ve tried to be alil different:
I’ve added a Stage, Dressing Room, and an Awards Hall! Woo yeah!

The “STAGE” is where you display you and your partner’s work.
The “DRESSING ROOM” is where you pick an outfit. I thought it would be cute to know what you would wear and why. I put links to all the outfits (provided by the freestyle okp committee)
And The “AWARDS HALL” is where you can give someone else a trophy! (i.e. “I think blahblah, should get this best short poem award because blahblah writes the best short poems)

Here are the rules for this post:

1) You have to have a partner to post on a topic in this thread.
2) You had to of asked someone of the opposite sex to participate with you.
3) You and your partner should write about the topic that was chosen.
4) There are no guidelines about the style or length of your posts.
5) There are no guidelines of length of time that you have been on these boards for you to post. (newbies welcome)
6) Please Make an Introduction Post with your name in the title part and reply under “The Stage” Title Part of the thread (just because it makes it easier to find your work)

You can say what you want to say about yourself, if you don’t know what to say here’s an example:

Age:
Website/audios/ pics: (links)
Personal Info: (ethnicity, writing style, favorite things, who or what inspired you to write, etc)
