I started reading her Bio years ago, but I don't think I ever finished! -- x( -- *my bad*

I do know she wrote a lot of heartfelt humanity in2 her flows -- Seems she suffered depression more often than not --
but that just set the pace for her wonderful writings, I guess.

She committed suicide, didn't she? -- *I Forgets*

One of her lighter poems has a special place in my heart -- for some strange reason, it reminds me of me -- :P

~You're~

Clownlike, happiest on your hands,
Feet to the stars, and moon-skulled,
Gilled like a fish. A common-sense
Thumbs-down on the dodo's mode.
Wrapped up in yourself like a spool,
Trawling your dark as owls do.
Mute as a turnip from the Fourth
Of July to All Fool's Day,
O high-riser, my little loaf.

Vague as fog and looked for like mail.
Farther off than Australia.
Bent-backed Atlas, our travelled prawn.
Snug as a bud and at home
Like a sprat in a pickle jug.
A creel of eels, all ripples.
Jumpy as a Mexican bean.
Right, like a well-done sum.
A clean slate, with your own face on.

And for sure -- "Phenomenal Woman" -- should be EVERY WOMAN'S anthem to be held close to the soul.

Thank U Ma'am -- :D
