Hoping people forget is dumber than comical.
Political discussions avoided at all costs/
It's all false, the way we handle these so called "sensitive subjects"
The hesitance to sign checks earned by the work vets/
Societies with pain haven't visited nurse yet...
Yet we're movin' it on/
Watchin' who's marrying who, and what they said in the song.
If the song SAYS SOMETHING, it plays on the wrong/
Rotations, the airwaves I'm giving the gong.
I can't breathe through this tension/
The situations demanding massive attention--National or otherwise
Media they emphasize NOTHING enough
To make a viewer drop the fork, or kids stop the track bumpin'.
Suppression--Apathy isn't an element/
When the news is presented in methods intelligent
