Like raindrops from Heaven
she’s missing
The points and prospects of her
Recollect-
Ion
Igniting flames of youth
And passion to prove
And rebel against the statutes--
That she alludes to
Worshipping the calf
While preaching gospels.

II.
Naïve but known
For complementary colloquialisms
And condescending stances
On new age Colonialism
The En Vogue Activist
Toting Louis Vuitton picket signs
And Prada pin ups
Illustrating the dangers of Capitalism
While selling her soul to masses
Paris Hilton masking
In wrap skirts with L’Oreal make up
Faking her redemptive strategy
But all the while
Maintaining her Clarity

III.
Fraudulent?
Not so much
Confused?
To a certain touch
And told that her messages aren’t meaning such
Levels
Of
Depth
And even in death of self
She awakens herself
And takes Her mixed messages
And throws them in Her gucci bag
And walks to the strike line
Attempting to find Her balance
Between modern day Woman with indecision
And Champion of Causes she clings
To her surface morals
But Existential Causes
And She finds Her balance
When the rain falls.
