the swaddler is a banana leaf
baby being like preserved kassava beneath it

and she can see
that this bundle was MADE
for adoration
each heavy leaf folded over
keeps him secure in mother's arms
she...is a mother
and allows her rock to share in parenthood
his sweaty fingers timgle with the
anticipation of actualizing his fatherhood
and touching the banaleaf wrapped
package from God
holding him to the sky
immulating Rafiki
he blesses him
and a name falls from that everpresent atmosphere
Amir is befitting
he will know the life of kings
and importance of friends
he will be taught hard lessons
that will be softened from wisdom of the rock
a family is born on this day
Amir had no idea he had given birth too
he would soon find out though
it was inevitable happiness

And i would hope that a name that means something gives the child a piece of confidence. As well to know that there is culture behind where he comes from, a foundation.
