Sometimes i feel so worthless
it makes me want to cry
my thoughts are suicidal
but I don't want to die
sometimes i feel so hopeless
broken beyond repair
I'm trapped inside the darkness
of the deepest despair
sometimes i just cant focus
beneath all the pain
knowing the only love that could sooth it
has put it in my brain
heartbroken feels heartbroken
no matter where you are
like your life has been stolen
or theyve snuffed out the stars
and all I've really wanted
was to be in your arms
I cant see all around me
tears flood out of my eyes
no smile can hide this sadness
i cant control my thoughts
my mind is lost and moonless
inside the deepest dark
i close these eyes in terror
these thoughts are not my own
i try to change my mindset
but still i find no rest
i fear now that this vacation
will be my spirits death
if anyone else had told me
i would have called them liars
that hands that bring me heaven
could feed me to the fire
i feel as though im walking
towards nothing at all
all of my great perception
has fallen in the fall

right on. i've felt this way..this last week.

I feel you. Reminds me of my recent moods and the stuff I wrote b/c of it. Moods is the wrong word. That somehow makes it sound petty and within one's control. This was intense and so honest. It takes courage to put yourself out there like that. And I appreciate that you shared this piece. Thanks.
