upward spirals
deep seas

i never know the destination of my stream

the moon has been the life of the party
and then shy
numerous nights

i've wondered what we could have been
written sonnet, prose, lyric
from here to there
and back again
i've laughed and cried with others
i've even had to scream
yet, to me, u remain the sweetest dream
thoughts jump like giselles or spring bucks
across the meadow of my mind
classified as us
peaceful
serene
my own symphony
because to me, u remain my sweet dream
there was one flavor i loved and adored
yet like ice cream, it tore me up
yet i yearned for more
but for me you eternally bring to mind
the bitter sweet lemonade i crave in spring
and summer time
i know it was just one dance
but oddly, now, i'm stuck
i
didn't realize until now how seriously
our situation ran a muck
but
if we take the time to reacquant
you'll see
we can be reality
and never more
just a sweet dream
