it's been a loooooooooooooong time
since i've dropped in on the boards

i'm starting to write again
after what feels like forever

i was in a relationship with a writer
and i wrote constantly
that relationship came to a close

and then i fell in love with a man
and found out that he hated poetry...

it's hard to write a poem about a man who hates poetry...

and then i found out that somebody or somebodies were stealing the work that i shared...

and then i got paranoid.
cause my poems are like my children
i can't have people stealing my children

so i played in gd for a while
and then i got tired
of the deeply unpleasant experiences that i kept having
and not bein one for drama
i simply let it all fall by the wayside

i've been workin on three books
and i keep putting them down
and then coming back to them
and putting them down
and coming back to them

but i miss y'all here on freestyle
all the old heads
i would name names but i'd forget too many of y'all
i miss the honest feedback
the ego boosts *smile*
and just the all around love and support

i hope that you're all doing something that makes you really happy
