I am a woman.
From the top of my sometimes manic head
to the bottom of my perfectly pedicured feet.I am a woman.
I am more than my uterus;
I am more than my nurture;
I am more than my strength.I am a woman.
A woman like no other
None can even compare.
My talents are long,
My will is strong
and my heart has a mind of its own.I am a woman.
I am not the curve of my breast,
The slide or the slip of my hip,
The roundness of my bottom,
Better yet the sum of my parts.
I AM greater than this.I am a woman.
I stand out and stand above.
Not by design but by choice.
I chose ME to be the woman of MY dreams.
Not to impress the masses
Although they should be impressed.I am a woman.
I am strong and persistent.
I know I am worthy.
As long as I treat ME with respect
I can demand that respect from others.I AM a woman.
