james merrill, i was supposed to read him for class, but i don't think i went to school on the day dude presented on him. do you like his work so far?

and kima, i'm already picking at your summer reading list from your blog. i've never been able to get through "tar baby" either. maybe one day.

my neighbor just gave a copy of the short fiction norton anthology she stole from somewhere. so, i'm making my way through that too. weeeeeeee.

Hill Harper's Letters to a Young Brother as a gift so I guess I'll be digging into that. I tackle books one at a time and very slowly because I tend to read parts over and over and might even venture off into my own writing process, so this should last until the leaves turn. Hell, I'm still re-reading all my old Calvin & Hobbes collections..lol
