Saw this shit Wednesday afternoon.

Full title is Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths.

This movie is very in love with itself.

Outside of Amos Perros and The Revenant, I really don't fuck with this dude's movies. He's seriously high on his own supply. So important. So much sucking his own dick.

Here's the trailer for those of you interested:

Imagine seeing this shit sober. Couldn't be me.
746495, I thought Biutiful was great.

Loved Amores Perros. The Revenant was cool. I don't remember if I ever saw Babel. And didn't much care for Birdman, though I recognized the cinematography, as being really amazing.
746545, This is such an odd post. Your commentary, I mean.

I guess I have a director or three I despise, but I did not realize Inarritu was that offensive
747121, candy. sweet, sweet candy.

the fisheye lens, the elaborate set pieces, self-rumination, the surrealism...loved every bit of it. you can also tell it is quite personal to Inarritu, and personal films are often the best films.

glad it has Netflix accessibility, but this movie deserves to be seen on the big screen.
