Cool fights and purple lasers, but ending back in the mental hospital kinda left us at square one.

Total disconnection from the MCU was mostly cool but also doesn’t lead us into anything else, big-picture wise.

It would’ve been nice to see Jake get busy with the powers one time, but maybe that’s a season 2 thing. Maybe Blade can set up S2, if it gets renewed.
