Undoubtedly a way to keep his scheduling freedom and secure a much bigger bag down the road. Also probably a way for Marvel to save money short term (which, side note, drives me completely crazy, because they've been making absolutely absurd profits, so they can afford for these TV shows to pay for more physical sets, prep time for action, effects artists... anyway lol).

But there's zero chance if Moon Knight is a buzzy hit that they won't bring Isaac back. They have to. Marvel's bringing back everyone. They brought back fucking Thomas Haden Church from Spider-Man 3 and the Andrew Garfield villains, lol. If they can put someone in a movie that the audience can recognize and cheer when they appear? They'll do it.
