It spoke to me on so many levels...beautifully shot, creative af

the Purple Rain moment was *chef's kiss*

the homeless dude stole every scene

i loved the way she wrote D's character...perfect balance of masculinity, vulnerability, tenderness, confidence like wow

i'm so mad i hadn't heard of her before this..i'm right here! i would have TOTALLY gone to see Radhamusprime at joe's pub...I've missed out on so much culture having my head buried in working for other people these last 5 years...

I don't even have the words.

I've seen good films and I've seen bad films but it's been a long time since I've seen a film where the world just felt different after (Maybe Blindspotting and then before that probably Moonlight).

I don't know what I'm more impressed by Blank's writing, her directing or her acting. Had she done just one of those she'd be a force but to do all three? Wow. And as a first-time feature filmmaker?

There's so much to that I want to say about this but just am overwhelmed by how incredible it is.

I'm about to annoy a lot of people telling them to watch this if they haven't already
