I really liked the opening scene and I enjoyed the switch to sci fi mode since I was just expecting a commandos kill black and brown terrorist/bad guys type of movie. I also liked how Andy still had and still used her battle axe and the other two had and still used their swords from the crusades. That was a nice tough, it also explained why they carried those weapons with them and Booker had no weapon like that.
>other than that, I thought the dialogue wasn't particularly >well written, the action scenes were OK but nothing special, >and the girl who played Nile just... wasn't very good, to the >point that it became distracting.
I agree with most of this, especially the part about the girl who played Niles.

I also bought the idea that these characters felt the weight of their immortality as a curse, especially Andy and Booker. The other two seemed to view it more as a blessing since it brought them together.
All in all I enjoyed the movie and look forward to the sequel.
