739737, so many QOL features that are standard definitely screams Posted by will_5198, Tue Nov-03-20 12:59 PM
an underfunded development team. because these are basic options that people are used to (10 second skip my GOD). and aside from my first world complaining about a streaming service, it is bad for their product because they make it actively hard to consume more content (the episode selection you mentioned is crazy bad).
sometimes in Chrome, when I click the HBO Max icon I get transported back to freaking HBO Now. no lie.
>That said, it's the ONLY service I actually use consistently >because the content is *chef's kiss* I REALLY want to drop >Netflix but other people watch that even though I haven't >watched that shit in I don't know how long and am usually >disappointed whenever I do.
yeah. even though our main living room is a Roku set, I've persevered just because HBO Max has most of what I want to see. although they really should have just done a one-year deal with Roku at launch to build a better subscriber base and then blame Roku if they cannot renegotiate.
