Us: I'm not into horror, but for a moment, this had me on the edge of my seat and I could understand why people would be into this style of film. ...then it squandered its potential with a series of bad/strange decisions. disappointing.

Mandy: wow... can't say I've seen much quite like this. Nic Cage surprisingly wasn't going as batshit as I was led to believe he would. the showstopper award, IMO, goes to Linus Roache, who plays the cult leader. haven't seen him since my Law & Order binge-watching days—good to see him still doing his thing!
