I'm not one for sci-fi or fantasy-style books or movies so his work never really interested me. Same reason I've never seen Harry Potter nor like Lord of the Rings, etc.

But I loved the cast and had heard some good things so my wife and I gave it a chance. It's really well done otherwise for sure. But this past episode confirmed what we knew was inevitable, unfortunately.
