Posted by las raises, Mon Jan-20-20 03:01 AM

737752, Funk was the best
Posted by makaveli, Mon Jan-20-20 09:03 AM
gonna watch tonight, can't wait.
737753, episode was all over the place, but I laughed a lot
Posted by DJR, Mon Jan-20-20 09:19 AM
So glad it’s still around.
737760, good episode, i laughed a lot
Posted by makaveli, Tue Jan-21-20 09:42 AM
737761, The thing about Jeff was genius.
Posted by stravinskian, Tue Jan-21-20 10:09 AM

Really good episode. Hope it's a sign of a great season ahead.

Avenue 5 was really great, too. Looking forward to seeing where that goes.
737762, Cheryl Hines is a ride or die.
Posted by Numba_33, Tue Jan-21-20 10:38 AM
I won't spoil the bit that developed at the tail end of the first episode, but that was quite gully on her part to be down for that storyline.
737763, Happy New Year
Posted by Ceej, Tue Jan-21-20 11:35 AM
737764, AWESOME first ep!!!
Posted by KnowOne, Tue Jan-21-20 12:23 PM
nm
737767, Even though LD was EXTRA assholish this one, I loved it.
Posted by Ryan M, Tue Jan-21-20 02:09 PM
737769, Lol, knocking over the bikes was so unnecessary
Posted by DJR, Tue Jan-21-20 03:53 PM
737777, the cleaning his glasses with her shirt was the most dickish lol
Posted by Mynoriti, Wed Jan-22-20 04:29 PM
The bird scooters and the selfie stick thing were at least things that a lot of people fantasize about doing, but don't actually do

The using her top to wipe her glasses was some dirtbag shit. Not even in a metoo way, just... in a who the fuck does that? way Lol
737782, Yes and sticking his nose in Lewis’s coffee was the worst
Posted by DJR, Wed Jan-22-20 05:56 PM
Ridiculous. Shit actually pissed me off, lol.
737773, no regard for that fetus.
Posted by Nodima, Wed Jan-22-20 04:57 AM
Off to a hot, hot start.

737774, Brilliant. Larry nailed what Shameless failed miserably at
Posted by Mynoriti, Wed Jan-22-20 12:08 PM
Shameless tried to weave the Trump era and #metoo into their show in a what they saw as a fun Shameless style way, and it just wound up looking like a series of sloppy PSAs

Larry knocked it out of the park
737775, She got stung by a wasp
Posted by rdhull, Wed Jan-22-20 01:08 PM
lmao
737845, Ep 2. Man this show is as good as its ever been
Posted by Mynoriti, Mon Jan-27-20 04:28 PM
that painting had me crying
737846, The video, the dinner. Fantastic.
Posted by Ceej, Mon Jan-27-20 05:11 PM
737857, The painting was hilarious
Posted by las raises, Tue Jan-28-20 10:42 AM
Show is 2/2 this season
737865, whole ep was extra seinfeldish
Posted by Mynoriti, Tue Jan-28-20 04:29 PM
in a good way.
the painting, the bathroom thing, the date, the "side sitting", everything circling back in the end..

737899, New episode tonight due to Superbowl Sunday
Posted by las raises, Fri Jan-31-20 06:07 PM
I'll watch after the Laker game
737971, “Fuck you Vanilla Joe! Kiss my ass!” - Leon
Posted by DJR, Mon Feb-10-20 10:26 PM
This season is hilarious. Enjoying this more than season 8 and 9.
737972, Ha the fucking pumpkin tweeted part of episode 1
Posted by josephmurf2384, Tue Feb-11-20 09:00 AM
seemingly implying that the show was pro-trump.
737975, MAGAs are sharing on FB too
Posted by Ceej, Tue Feb-11-20 05:44 PM
Fucking hilarious.

They love nothing more than flaunting the fact they know nothing.
737974, Yoyo lol
Posted by Mynoriti, Tue Feb-11-20 05:10 PM
737976, Like you said about ep 2, this season has been a lot like Seinfeld.
Posted by stravinskian, Tue Feb-11-20 07:47 PM

I'm not complaining, every episode has been great so far. The yo-yo thing, the "she's jewish" thing, the secret beans thing, the weight-guessing thing, it all seems right out of Seinfeld.

I wonder if he's scripting it more than he used to. (though these broad plot directions would be the same even without a word-for-word script)
737982, yeah, even maga hat was a total George move
Posted by Mynoriti, Wed Feb-12-20 05:08 PM
i know you can say that for most things Larry, but sometimes more than others.

but yeah, either way I appreciate it.

738034, This season has been perfect
Posted by las raises, Tue Feb-18-20 05:36 PM
I love the tension between LD and ted. I also like they act as if Marty is on vacation, pretty respectful
738107, Larry not giving his customers the option of shitting is too classic
Posted by DJR, Mon Mar-02-20 01:08 AM
738114, Larry’s version of women’s bathroom had me dying
Posted by Roadblock, Mon Mar-02-20 08:52 PM
738118, best episode so far! The whole Jets thing, the magic vag
Posted by calminvasion, Tue Mar-03-20 11:13 AM
The ugly section. I was howling almost all the way thru it
738119, Season is undefeated so far
Posted by Ceej, Tue Mar-03-20 11:50 AM
Getting the mints from the attendant was just such a throwaway thing but hilarious each time.
738153, Incorporating the coffin handles
Posted by Numba_33, Fri Mar-06-20 08:41 AM
with that minor detail of the drawer handles in the coffee shop was other worldly.
738120, I've never seen an episode. Is it worth it to start from Season 1?
Posted by Creole, Tue Mar-03-20 01:41 PM
738121, not a show that you need to watch chronologically to enjoy
Posted by DJR, Tue Mar-03-20 01:53 PM
Most of the seasons have a general story arc, but even with that you can watch a stand-alone episode and enjoy it.

That said, the show has changed over the years. Things moved more slowly and were generally more realistic in the early seasons. To me, seasons 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7 were my favorite, but there’s hilarious stuff in all the seasons. Season 10 has been great so far.
738123, To an extent, he does need to go back
Posted by Numba_33, Tue Mar-03-20 02:20 PM
and watch the older episodes. If he comes into the show blind, he won't get the backstory behind Cheryl, Leon, and Ted Danson fully.
738145, Thanks to both of youse guys. I'll probably check out a few randomly.
Posted by Creole, Thu Mar-05-20 04:16 PM
We'll see how it works out form there. If they're like that, I might just go back.
738180, I'd start with season two
Posted by Stadiq, Wed Mar-11-20 12:28 PM

At least thats the season that hooked me.

That said, I haven't seen the last couple seasons so I can't speak to those.

This new season is great so far though.

Bigger/more dedicated fans should chime in with the best/essential seasons.
738169, "Elizabeth, Margaret and Larry" was a classic

738176, The scone callback with Hamm
Posted by josephmurf2384, Wed Mar-11-20 04:14 AM
It would be awesome if he opens a spite store on the other side of Mocha Joe's.
738177, I had that same scone interaction at work
Posted by Ceej, Wed Mar-11-20 07:34 AM
and the guy got it. We are now best friends.
738181, What killed me was Hamm doing the coffee test
Posted by JiggysMyDayJob, Wed Mar-11-20 02:07 PM
He went full Larry
738178, Co-sign...whole season has been incredible
Posted by ODotSoHot, Wed Mar-11-20 10:09 AM
Only episode I didn't really care for was 'The Artificial Fruit'
738202, this season is incredible
Posted by Ryan M, Sat Mar-14-20 11:31 AM
Peak Curb in Season 10!! That’s insane.
738217, that commercial Larry did for his shop was amazing stuff
Posted by DJR, Mon Mar-16-20 11:00 AM
I was howling with laughter. What a way to start the episode.

Also, fitting that this episode featured hand sanitizer on all the tables in Larry’s shop, and some revolting transfer of germs situations?

Enjoying Vince Vaughn’s addition to the show. He’s a a perfect sit around and shoot the shit that keeps conversations flowing with funny quips, type of guy.
738229, That commercial was hilarious
Posted by las raises, Tue Mar-17-20 03:29 PM
I was howling and my wife said to be quiet, she didn't hear it and replayed it for her and she was howling
738230, Diarrhea Gag was great
Posted by JiggysMyDayJob, Tue Mar-17-20 03:36 PM
Abby was killing it and then with the car. Larry has been on all cylinders this year.
738263, What a fucking season. Flames.
Posted by Ryan M, Mon Mar-23-20 12:25 AM
738264, so good.
Posted by Ceej, Mon Mar-23-20 08:05 AM

738268, HILARIOUS!!!!
Posted by KnowOne, Mon Mar-23-20 03:18 PM
Great season!
738291, Man can you imagine anyone else pitching a Spite Store as a storyline?
Posted by Buddy_Gilapagos, Thu Mar-26-20 06:26 PM
Like it's so absurd and crazy, but now I am sure it's going to be a thing. Like soon people are going to be saying they went on a "Spite Date" or they bought a "Spite Car".

It will be a thing.

738364, As strong a season as there's been, holy shit
Posted by Beamer6178, Mon Apr-06-20 08:02 PM
I realized that the series started in 2000. That's crazy that it first started 20 years ago. But he's definitely emphasized quality over quantity.

I've seen a lot but not every Seinfeld episode but I liked CYE better from the beginning. Reason being you get the best Seinfeld character (George) front and center, completely unhinged. Plus I couldn't stand that NYC based shows (Seinfeld, Friends) featured so few Black people. I realize Larry being co-creator and producer for a stretch contributed to that, but it seems that with CYE, he's been much more self aware about race, featuring more Black people in a whiter area.

That diarrhea shit had me WEAK. WEAK.
738377, Yeah this and the Seinfeld reunion are my fav i think
Posted by Heinz, Wed Apr-08-20 09:42 AM
but this was executed better
