Show is back tonight, show felt like they were trying a bit too hard at the start of the episode but was back in form mid way, gonna miss The Funk Man

I won't spoil the bit that developed at the tail end of the first episode, but that was quite gully on her part to be down for that storyline.

Shameless tried to weave the Trump era and #metoo into their show in a what they saw as a fun Shameless style way, and it just wound up looking like a series of sloppy PSAs

This season is hilarious. Enjoying this more than season 8 and 9.

I'm not complaining, every episode has been great so far. The yo-yo thing, the "she's jewish" thing, the secret beans thing, the weight-guessing thing, it all seems right out of Seinfeld.

I wonder if he's scripting it more than he used to. (though these broad plot directions would be the same even without a word-for-word script)

i know you can say that for most things Larry, but sometimes more than others.

but yeah, either way I appreciate it.

I love the tension between LD and ted. I also like they act as if Marty is on vacation, pretty respectful

The ugly section. I was howling almost all the way thru it

Getting the mints from the attendant was just such a throwaway thing but hilarious each time.

with that minor detail of the drawer handles in the coffee shop was other worldly.

Most of the seasons have a general story arc, but even with that you can watch a stand-alone episode and enjoy it.

That said, the show has changed over the years. Things moved more slowly and were generally more realistic in the early seasons. To me, seasons 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7 were my favorite, but there’s hilarious stuff in all the seasons. Season 10 has been great so far.

and watch the older episodes. If he comes into the show blind, he won't get the backstory behind Cheryl, Leon, and Ted Danson fully.

We'll see how it works out form there. If they're like that, I might just go back.

At least thats the season that hooked me.


That said, I haven't seen the last couple seasons so I can't speak to those.

This new season is great so far though.


Bigger/more dedicated fans should chime in with the best/essential seasons.

Peak Curb in Season 10!! That’s insane.

I was howling with laughter. What a way to start the episode.

Also, fitting that this episode featured hand sanitizer on all the tables in Larry’s shop, and some revolting transfer of germs situations?

Enjoying Vince Vaughn’s addition to the show. He’s a a perfect sit around and shoot the shit that keeps conversations flowing with funny quips, type of guy.

I was howling and my wife said to be quiet, she didn't hear it and replayed it for her and she was howling

Abby was killing it and then with the car. Larry has been on all cylinders this year.

Great season!

Like it's so absurd and crazy, but now I am sure it's going to be a thing. Like soon people are going to be saying they went on a "Spite Date" or they bought a "Spite Car".

It will be a thing.

I realized that the series started in 2000. That's crazy that it first started 20 years ago. But he's definitely emphasized quality over quantity.

I've seen a lot but not every Seinfeld episode but I liked CYE better from the beginning. Reason being you get the best Seinfeld character (George) front and center, completely unhinged. Plus I couldn't stand that NYC based shows (Seinfeld, Friends) featured so few Black people. I realize Larry being co-creator and producer for a stretch contributed to that, but it seems that with CYE, he's been much more self aware about race, featuring more Black people in a whiter area.

That diarrhea shit had me WEAK. WEAK.

but this was executed better
