Tore through the first season today and WOW.

First thing that grabbed my attention in the trailer was rotoscoping style ala ‘Waking Life.’ When I discovered that Raphael Bob-Waksberg was behind it, I was all in.

That said, this barely has anything in common with Bojack Horseman, beyond the fact that it’s animated and smart as hell. Incredible acting, sharp writing and definitely engages you to want to see what happens next.

One of those shows that’s so great that I get scared it might be too smart for its own good (and yeah I recognize that’s a bit of an elitist stance to take but whatever).

ALMOST stopped after 1st episode (cuz i was thinkin' "This just isnt my cup of tea"), but very glad i didnt quit and give up on it....

watched all of season 1 yesterday, prob gonna finish season2 tomorrow..

Happy to see it has a 2nd season. Gotta watch it

...like said, ALMOST quit after the 1st episode, but stuck with it after that, and it was most definitely worth it.

Finished 2nd season yesterday and this show regularly surprised us. Pretty damn well done.
