"..Just remember: if you're failing this class, don't beat yourself up too much. In another reality, you're teaching it..."

"..So, who are you, in one of these parallel universes?.."

This dialogue sets the tone for what can only be described as an episode full of poetic justice.

Sprinkled throughout this season finale were some cinematic reinterpretations of John Singleton's best work (along with a glimpse of a young Singleton in the making). The score was damn-near a eulogy.

Poetic justice, indeed.
