I held off on watching this for a while, but decided to dive in last week and was glad I waited. I really enjoyed this shit.

When Jordan stepped up to Jimmie like he was about to box and then just started crying....man that shit folded me the fuck up. I felt that shit in my chest.

I really enjoyed Montgomery. It was just the little shit...running beside the skateboard...the stage direction of the niggaz on the corner...the climax between him and Jimmie at the stage play...I just identified with him being unapologetically awkward and genuine as fuck.

Really good film. More stageplay than film, as mentioned above...but right in my fucking wheelhouse.
