It mostly felt like a cast slimming move so makes sense nobody remembers it.

I'm torn on CC; I definitely feel emotional about it more because he was one of the only characters on the show that had a Wire-like quality to him.

More than last season, this season I feel like I'm seeing through the seams of this too much. All these characters are going through major dramatic changes but their actual roles aren't really changing for the most part. Vince and Frankie keep making their respective faces, Candy keeps delivering every line like plot armor flows through her veins rather than blood, Paul is just a smirk and mustache at this point, Abi keeps making her disappointed faces and rolling her eyes, D'Angelo is a damn robot...

I feel like I can predict exactly how every character is going to act in every scene...

EXCEPT CC and Larry Brown. This has been a real frustrating season for me because they've convinced me to care about a lot of these characters and I really enjoy the setting and the dialogue...but the acting bugs me almost universally so it has to be something with the show itself I just can't put my finger on it. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching community theater, and losing CC just feels like salt in the wound. I guess now it makes sense why Rodney's been getting more screen time; now I'm just hoping this whole Red Hot thing backfires, Vince and Frankie get offed and Season 3 is all about Larry Brown's Dirk Diggler journey.
