I thought Laurie spilled the beans to Don Johnson's Wife because she really isn't convinced that there is this big conspiracy afoot. I just saw her as doing the routine follow-up that is required as an FBI agent. Like, "sorry to bother you but I have to chase down this silly lead we have".
