If you liked Winter’s Bone (if you saw it, you probably liked it), then seek out Leave No Trace, the story of a veteran (Ben Foster, great as always) and his daughter (Thomasin, McKenzie, extraordinary) who live in the woods to stay away from society until they are found and forced into the system. It’s terrific— I want Granik to make movies more frequently.
730509, I really liked Winter's Bone and like everything that Foster's been in

I'm so behind on movies that it's not even funny anymore, but if I get time, I'll check this out once its on video.

Ben Foster STAY beasting, Thomasin Mackenzie was every bit on his level and stole the damn movie from one of the best actors working today
I legit thought Tom was played by grown up Abigail Breslin for the entire movie lol

I hope the wait for Debra Granik's next film is much much shorter

Just a beautiful story

Then, I will need to check this out. Loved Winter's Bone.

Hard to believe the hapless loser from Get Over it featuring Cisqo would turn out to be such a gritty performer. I always thought he brought sort of an edgy intensity to his role.

Man, Ben Foster has come a LONG way since Six Feet Under.

Really good, quiet movie.

The basic premise reminded me a bit of Captain Fantastic. But much better.

I really liked the development of the daughter, as she came to figure out that their nomadic lifestyle had much more to do with her father's issues.
733856, Greatness

"What if the kids at school think I'm strange? 'Cause of the way we were living?"

"How important are their judgments?"

"Guess I'll find out."
