He seems almost competent at times, but he's weak and too driven by emotion. Even the thing with the art girls.. it's not like they actually agreed on anything, or owe it to him to go with him, but he acts as they did.

for the other thing, as you said, if he just took the money it would be understandable. Falling for something so obvious from Stewie and Sandy is not. Part of me thinks he's playing them (by using their assumption that he's an idiot) because he ultimately wants his father's approval. Sad thing is even if that's the case, Logan will probably still call him a moron.

it seemed she was pissed at her dad along with convincing herself she believes in Gil... plus add her side piece to this. She's realizing Gil doesn't walk on water either.. her dad is right that her last name is more important to Gil than her skilsset, not to mention he's probably not electable.
